My new Asus GVT has 16gigs now, but has 2 slots open on the back side which you can get to with only 1 screw.

I might buy another 16gig kit and go to 32gigs. My only reason lol. That's about it on memory part.

As far as overclocking the rest, with cpu's, there's a point of getting the right amount of return. Cpu will overclock to say 4ghz with little to no extra volts needed, but some cpus because every one is different will now need an extra 0.

If there is anything you really need the extra. If there is nothing you can see that it does that needs it, don't bother.

You are just as cool to me with that laptop running at 4ghz as you would 4. I'd rather it lasted you longer lol. You laptop is set to keep the Gpu at say 80c, if it starts to get warmer the fans will just ramp up and still hold it at that temp. If you want faster memory, just buy faster sticks and don't risk hurting anything else.

Even buying faster memory won't gain you anything. If anything I would just add more memory and max that out if you could.
